Trimarans are quickly multiplying in San Diego!

This is a great opportunity to get to know this great trimaran community at the San Diego NOOD Regatta. 180 Marine is dedicated to developing trimaran education, training, and racing in Southern California.

A little history about 180 Marine…because there is just a little. Launched in 2016, 180 Marine is the fastest growing Corsair Trimaran and Seawind Catamaran dealer in the U.S. It’s owned and operated by Richard Allen and Leslie Gabriel, long-time Corsair Trimaran racers, day sailors and cruisers.

So far we have six Corsair trimarans committed to the race. And we have 6 great skippers you’ll want to meet.

New Corsair 760 - Wyoming Owner Karl Smith - Karl has graciously charted his boat to 180 Marine for this event.
C 31 - Michael Last - from San Diego, a world cruiser…just ask why he is a Corsair owner now...

F 82 - Mark Berdan - from San Diego, a tough competitor and scary-fast boat…

We’ll share our passion with you!

The Trimaran Sailing Clinic from 180 Marine is designed to provide the essential foundation of sailing skills on a Corsair trimaran. Learn how to sail a Corsair much better, or sample what Corsair trimarans are like to sail.

Our instruction is comprehensive. We believe strongly that the best way to learn how to sail is by actually sailing!  And with a maximum of four students per boat, all sailors are certain to receive plenty of personal attention. Participants gain extensive hands-on experience, building the sailing skills and knowledge you need.

The new Corsair 760 will be used for this training. It’s a great way to evaluate this new Corsair!

The newest Corsair 970 will be nearby if you haven’t stepped aboard yet…
