Comfortable, fast and upright sailing
The Dragonfly 28 is a fantastic boat for cruising with family and friends. Plenty of deck space due to the two large trampolines, upright sailing and huge stability. Easy to helm, even a kid can helm the boat as the tiller is always in full balance.
For racing you don’t need a big crew, and often the Dragonfly 28’s are sailed single-handed. Even for a short sail, just let the mooring lines go.
Sailing in light winds is fantastic. Set the bowsprit, unfurl the Code-0 or set the asymmetric spinnaker, and you will be sailing as fast as the true wind. You rarely motor with these boats. Gybing is easy as the boat is stable, and sailing with the spinnaker is a real pleasure, even singlehanded.
