on the Dragonfly 32

The sleek and narrow hulls slice through the waves with no pounding upwind. All control lines are led back to the cockpit for easy and safe handling. The standard sails are Elvstrom EPEX high-tech laminated quality. Battencare system and full batten mainsail come standard.

The Dragonfly 32 fills in the gap between the Dragonfly 28 and the Dragonfly 40. The Dragonfly 32 is available in two versions: the Dragonfly 32 Touring with the standard rig and the more powerful version with a taller rig, the Dragonfly 32 Evolution. The Dragonfly 32 accommodates a crew of 5-7 people.

Dragonfly 32 - sailing with fingertip control

With fingertip control, the Dragonfly 32 comes with a tiller as standard or optional wheel steering. An anchor system can be ordered with a below-deck windlass. The rudder and centerboard are designed with the special Dragonfly kick-up system for safety. This allows you to explore the shallow water and the best places for anchoring.

The Dragonfly features

Find your own paradise along the coastline or fjord, where the water is calm and like a mirror. Release the centerboard and rudder lines, and both will come up. If you find a sandy beach, you simply glide in until you stop. This is possible even with the inboard engine, as the sail drive is not lower than the hull. This is magic and one of the great features you can normally only dream about.

The Dragonfly 32 folds easily within 2 minutes, using our own unique Dragonfly swing Wing System we designed more than 30 years ago. The floats actually are immersed deeper as they fold in which retails enormous stability in the folded position, allowing the boat to remain folded in a single marina berth. The boat can also stay folded ashore for winter storage.

The floats offer plenty of storage for all your extra sails, folding bikes, kiteboards, inflatable dinghies, etc. Additional float deck hatches are offered for even more storage. Solar panels on the main hull deck and floats can make you independent from shore power. The lazy jack system ensures that the mainsail is always in position.

Exclusive and functional interior

The main cabin is bright and friendly and comes in maple as standard, as shown. Many handcrafted wooden details in the interior give a feeling of exclusive ambiance. The centerboard retracts under the table, controlled from the cockpit. With the table folded up, you can sit up to 8 people enjoying dinner. The main cabinet side can easily be converted into a double berth. Full standing headroom of 1.94 m. The toilet with shower is located behind the wooden bulkhead in the forward section.

Spacious, social galley with optional oven. Two types of fridges are available. One is built into the upper post side cabinet, and/or a larger top-loading fridge is placed on the port side of the centerboard below the higher floor level.
