2026 JUNE 20-21 / FATHERS DAY WEEKEND TRIMARAN TRAINING

Another Great Day on the Water

Our Father's Day Trimaran Training Clinic was filled with learning, laughter, and outstanding sailing conditions on San Pedro Bay. Owners and guests spent the day building confidence through hands-on instruction while experiencing the performance and versatility that make Corsair trimarans so unique.

Throughout the day, participants gained practical experience in:

  • Boat preparation and safety checks

  • Rigging and sail trim for maximum performance

  • Tacking and jibing techniques unique to trimarans

  • Efficient docking and close-quarters maneuvering

  • Weight distribution and crew communication

  • Understanding apparent wind and sail balance

  • Boat handling in varying wind conditions

  • Folding and unfolding the amas

  • Trailer launching and retrieval tips

  • Best practices for owning, maintaining, and getting the most from a Corsair trimaran.

We sail out of "San Pedro Bay" Long Beach, California– the body of water just outside Long Beach Harbor and Alamitos Bay.

Once you're outside the breakwater we sail offshore in the open Pacific!

There is no substitute for time on the water with experienced instructors. Throughout the clinic, participants learned the techniques and decision-making skills that only come from thousands of miles of trimaran sailing. From fine-tuning sail trim to docking with confidence and understanding how to get the best performance from their Corsair, every exercise was designed to help owners become more capable, confident sailors.
