Recent history:
Purchased in September 2022 by present owner, who undertook and completed deferred maintenance, and repairs identified in the pre-purchase survey:
Moisture identified in the transom end of the cockpit sole around the rudder cassette. All waterlogged core removed and the area rebuilt with Divinycell core and fiber-reinforced epoxy. Rudder mount holes reinforced, re-drilled and sealed. Cockpit deck re-painted with textured KiwiGrip and new access ports fitted.
Moisture identified in rudder and rudder cassette. Both stripped, dried, rebuilt, faired and finished in 2-part white epoxy. Rudder shaft and bearing inspected and shimmed. New laminated wood tiller fitted and finished in 2-part epoxy clear coat, with new hardware.
Cracked and leaking forward cabin hatch with minor moisture ingress around the hatch opening. New hatch installed, surrounding light moisture-contaminated core removed and replaced with glass-thickened epoxy.
Multiple layers of redundant electrical wiring identified and removed.
New deep cycle gel battery and Victron charge controller fitted.
New multi-function mast-head lights fitted with sailing, motoring and moored lighting combinations.
Main, Jib and Screecher inspected and, where necessary, refurbished by Quantum Sails. New bolt rope fitted to main, new sheets fitted to screecher.
